Reader DC 2018.011.20038 slow mouse pointer in Citrix xenapp 6.0

Since the upgrade to Reader DC 2018.011.20038, running on Citrix Xenapp 6.0, our users have reported viewing PDF's with Adobe is unmanageable very slow. The issue doesn't occur in reader XI on Xenapp. The color also changes from white to black when hovering over the PDF. Inside the same session, going to the title bar of the PDF and going through menu options is fast.

Could any please let us know the solution how it can be manage through citrix

Hello

I had the same problem with my Adobe Reader 2017 on our XA 6.5 environment. I just found the following Citrix article https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX234028 and they mention a regkey:

Create a DWORD at the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown\

DWORD: bShouldUseScalableCursor Value: 0

I added this regkey and the laggy mouse cursor is gone. Don't know if this key will also work for 2018
