Reader DC and mapped drives

User has a mapped network drive - F = \\server\ss

second mapped drive P = \\server\ss_admin\username

when opening a .pdf from the P:> drive, SaveAs shows the proper path location - P:\document.pdf

when opening a .pdf from a different location, Save As shows this in Recent Folders  - F:\_admin\username\document.pdf

it is substituting F into the path of documents from the P:.  The problem goes away if the mapped drive is changed from P to E..... i.e., Adobe doesn't yet "know" about the F:> drive mapping so does no substitution in the path.

I would assume that is not how this should be functioning.  Can someone explain why the DC version of Reader would be doing this?
