Reader DC crashes on windows 10

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - Italian - Version 18.009.20044 is not working on my Windows 10 system. How to downgrade to the previous version?

I never had problems with my previous version of Adobe Reader, but recently I was invited to upgrade by that usual well-known message.

Now the new version is not working at all.  Is crashing whenever I open a file or even if I open the application alone.

I searched on google and I found here a suggestion: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1910388

But it's a joke! It suggests downloading the same version!

Any real true help on how to downgrade to the previous version will be appreciated.

Thanks

That link is correct, and it's not the same version, despite the title. Go to it and select Windows XP as your OS and you'll get a download link for Reader XI. You can also get it here: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/

I've done it! But nothing change!

    It still crashing!

I've uninstalled the program using CCleaner because there is no other way to uninstall the program other than using him or the setting panel of Windows 10.

(As far as I can see, Adobe does not provide an "uninstall" voice together whit the program.)

Then I installed the program using the link

http://get.adobe.com/it/reader/enterprise/ which is not an FTP as you mentioned in your answer.

If I follow your suggestion, I can not see any Italian version into the last directory:
