Reader DC not honoring default printer settings

The print dialog box from Reader isn't honoring my "grayscale - enabled" setting configured on my system print dialog. I'd like the Reader print dialog box to emulate the settings I have configured on the system printer, but at the very least I need a way to set Reader to print to grayscale by default. Is there a way to configure this? Running version 18.011.20038.
