Reader missing features after December update

Question

Good Afternoon,

Since updating to the December 2023 update of Acrobat Reader, the following items in preferences are missing:

-Commenting

-Reviewing

-Tracker

This is occuring on multiple Windows 10 Enterprise desktops for multiple users.

By having a non-admin run "Repair Installation", the preference items come back. However withing 24-48 hours the preference items disappear again. This error is not occuring in Acrobat Standard or Pro. Reader is running

Is this a known bug in this version of Acrobat Reader?

Please try updating the application to the latest version. Check if that resolves the issue.

If the issue still occurs, try reinstalling the application using the following steps:
-Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/48mz6tf).
-Reboot the machine
-Install Adobe Acrobat from the following page: https://adobe.ly/41LIzaO;

Let us know if the option still does not appear.
