reader showing 'adobe reader not responding' and is unable to scroll document etc

Question

pc loads documents but once loaded is unable to scroll etc without long delay, then says adobe reader not responding.

Also adobe update icon attempted to provide update then came back with an error code which unfortunately i missed ?

Hi Seanr36622074,

As mentioned above, the update was failed to installed. So you must try repairing the installation of the application.

And check if that help you fixing this problem.

Launch Reader>Help>"Repair Installation"

If it still doesn't work then, use the cleaner tool to uninstall the existing version- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
