Reader will not show next image.

I open PDF's from my email and Reader will open the first document/image, but when I try and open another on it will only continue to show the first image. This happens even if I close reader. It will reopen with the first document/image.

How can I fix this, to show the image I am asking to view?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
