Readers suddenly displays any document illegibly -- see attachment

I checked for updates; no updates available. I repaired the current installation. This is Reader DC version 2020.009.20067. I'm in Windows 10. ???

FYI -- the problem I mentioned (see post today "Acrobat Reader DC Garbled Text") was solved by uninstalling everything, running the acrobat reader "cleaner" tool, resetting the windows font settings, and re-installing. (The instructions are on my post). Whew!

I may be experiencing the same problem. I just created a forum post called "acrobat reader DC garbled text" on 7-2-20 (with a youtube video). Hope it's an easy setting thing! (The problem does not occur in the free Foxit reader for me)
