"Reading the File..." delays caused by adobe reader Cache Bug

Adobe Reader  "Reading the File..." delays under Windows 11 with 64 GB Sdram installed

and a setting of the Maximum Cache Size to 20000 MB,  should not occur.

However these delays occur repeatedly and it does not appear as if

Adobe Reader ever allocates any more than around 2 GB of Sdram for itself,

according to Windows Task Manager.

Most of my PDF files are on an external USB HDD and I assume that Windows 11

is correctly turning off the HDD when it is idle.

Adobe Reader is precipitating these delays and causing the External HDD

to be turned on regularly and wastefully because Adobe Reader is not

maintaining a complete copy of each PDF file in the 64GB of Memory.

(maybe 8 files at a time, many of which are 100MB to 300MB long.)

Adobe Reader should implement a Memory Display feature, to display

exactly how much memory it has allocated from Windows 11,

and how that memory is distributed between the PDFs which are open.
