recently unable to open any PDF files

Recently I became unable to open any PDF files, new or old. Adobe Acrobat Reader DC shows them as having been opened, but they do not appear. I just upgraded to Mac High Sierra OS, 10.13.1. I have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    Please confirm if you are still experiencing the issue or it is resolved.

    As you have upgraded the OS, I would suggest you to uninstall the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and then re-install it.

    Use the cleaner tool to remove the application and restart your machine.

    Then re-install the application from this link Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
