Reinstating Acrobat Reader XI

Please help this 70+ year old! I edit a small newsletter and have done so successfully for 3 years.  I did not ask for or want the new D Reader - I was quite happy with the older XI version, please please could someone explain in simple terms just how I can get the old version back?  I don't know much of the computer jargon and manage quite well with the small amount of work I have to do.

Please follow the below mention steps to install Reader XI on your computer:

1- Download and run Cleaner tool found here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs  ( only for Windows)

2- Restart the computer.

3- Download and install Reader XI from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Select your Operating System, language, and version (Reader 11.0.10)from the drop down options and click Download now.
