Remove Password from Old File

I have a large pdf file created in 2012 that I cannot open.  It requires a password which I can no longer locate.  The firm that created the file is no longer in business so contacting them is not possible.  Is there a way for me to remove the password without knowing the password to open it.  I just need to view it and maybe print it.  Thank you.

Correct answer Test Screen Name

Adobe will not help you remove a password you do not know, and the software doesn't have a back door to let you do this. Hacking tools might exist, but Adobe won't allow discussion of them.
