remove redact mark

I somehow marked some text in a PDF to be redacted, and i have no idea how to undo that. I cant save the document now; Acrobat crashes every time. I do NOT want to redact any text. Help? thank you!

Click the Redaction mark and press Delete.

Thank you for reaching out.

When you redact information in a PDF using Adobe Acrobat application, it asks you to save a new redacted file. Which results in two separate files: the original and a redacted PDF.

Once a file is saved with redactions applied, there’s no way to get the information back. If you overwrite the original PDF with the redacted version, the redacted information is gone forever.

When you post a link how about NOT putting a ";" at the end confusing the link. Why would you do this? Are you trying to help or confuse people? Bad links confuse people and make them struggle even more outside the problem they are already having.

without the ";" also does NOT work and ends in a 404 error, FYI.

I have a question about redacting and this stupid website is HORRIBLE to find information about Acrobat redaction. You have to click various things 20 times to even get to this page. The info is sparse because your search engine is terribad (yes, its a word I just made up just like this website makes up its own search queries that only Abobe developers know about.)
PLEASE MAKE THIS ENTIRE WEBSITE EASIER TO USE TO FIND INFORMATION!
