Question

Repeated crashes with circle instrument highlighting in DC

Hi, I am using the highlighting function on pdf converted images, thus using the circle instrument to highlight the text.

Crashing is always behind the corner, I can't work on any single page without having to open the windows task manager to exit the locked DC and then opening it again more than once every 5 minutes.

If I use the standard highlighting function on native pdf pages, all is ok.

My version is 2017.009.20044

kernel 17.2304

Any advice to understand the reason of this repeated crashes which slow down my studying?

Thanks

    Hello ,

Please share the test file if possible and also can you take crash logs.

    1. When application crash

    2. Open task manager

    3. Go to Acrobat Process

    4. Right Click -> Create dump file.

    Hello,

I have created the dump files and I have the test file object of the dump file crash, but ther's no way to upload and share files here, I'm allowed to share only imagines and videos.

How can I share the dump file?

    Thanks

You can share the crash dump using Adobe’s ‘Send & Track’ feature.

Please refer the attached ‘Send&Track.jpg’ and follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Zip the dump file.
    2. Launch Adobe Acrobat or Reader DC.
    3. Click on ‘Tools’. Search of ‘Send & Track’.
    4. Click on ‘Open’ to open the app.
    5. Click on ‘Select Files to Send’ and select the  dump file.
    6. Click on ‘Create Link’ option.
    7. Copy the generated link and share the same with us.

Please add dump and the test file in zip and share.

    Thanks
