Restored Adobe Files do not open

I have restored some Adobe Files multiple ones from a backup replication and they will not longer open.

I don't know what I can do to fix the problem?

Nothing will open in in notepad on one of the test files. It will display the file name in the task dialog box and that's it.

The file is empty. A empty file is not a valid PDF file.

The files are damaged. What can you see when you open a file in a text editor, like Notepad?
