Restrict or Track Printing w/Adobe

Good Afternoon,

We have a piece of software we have created that allows users to go online and search/view pdfs from an image vault.

At times users want to print these images, however we charge for that.  With adobe reader/adobe add in for IE user can just right click or hit the print button in the toolbar and print w/out paying.

Is there a way to either A) Turn off the print features? or even better B) is there a way for adobe to tell my software that someone is printing so I can charge their account?

Your help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Hi RealSuperNina,

Per my understanding, this is the best way to restrict users: Protect PDF files with permissions | what is the users are using Google Chrome, you can't restrict them because Google is using their built-in feature to view PDF's.

Let us know if you have further questions.
