Question

Rogue font search

I printed a PDF and checked to make sure the fonts were embedded. All were, including one font that shouldn't be in the document. Is there a way to search this 244-page PDF to find out where that rogue font is located so I can change it to the correct font?

Do you still have the source document where you created it? It would be easier there.

There is an Object Inspector in Acrobat Pro, but it would be tedious to click around with it.

Remember that the font could be on actual text, or it could be in an image, or it could be on a space.

Thank you, Jane. I hadn't considered that it could be something as simple (and frustrating) as a space. I was hoping I could do a font search and Adobe Reading could take me to that font in the PDF. Maybe someday this will be an option.

This makes no sense. Acrobat Reader can't change the font.
