Question

Rollback to simple signature (from certificate)

I just allowed Acrobat to update to/install the "use a certificate" version of adding a signature. It's overkill for what I need and want to get rid of this option, but can't find a way to do so. Can anyone provide a solution? Thank you

Did you find a solution?

I used to be able to simply click on sign and drag the picture of my signature on docs. That was really cool and useful.

Now I can only sign with a digital certified signature. That sucks, big times!

Please somebody help?

I have the same problem!  I'm running Acrobat Pro XI, 11.0.23 on a Mac (OS 10.13.2) and I'm so regretting using the Digital ID option a couple of months ago.  One time tried, and I've lost for all time -- on every document, including new test docs -- the ability to simply place my signature without it being a PW protected digital ID with all of the bells and whistles.  That's great for contract; it's a total pain for ordinary correspondence and the bulk of the what I do.

Please, Adobewankenobe, give us some guidanace.

Thanks.
