Hi, I created a form using Adobe Acrobat X Pro with a Save and Email button on the form.  I've sent the form to an individual to complete then click the Save and Email button; however, the individual receives an error message.  In order for me to receive an editable version is there a fix for this issue?

This is as designed. Reader X can't email this form unless it is saved with extended rights. But I believe this restriction was done away with for forms make in Acrobat X BUT NOT FORMS MADE IN LIVECYCLE DESIGNER which is included with Acrobat X.

Yes, DC is the current version. Older versions were called Adobe Reader, but current is Acrobat Reader.

As I mentioned, save it with extended rights in Acrobat. So long as it isn't an XFA form, should work.

So by saving the document as a Reader Extended Pdf/Enable Additional Features, the user can click the 'Save and Email' button on the form OR go to File/Save As/PDF/Name File and attach to email?

Probably, but best to test it yourself with Reader X on a spare computer, unless you are happy for the user to try and perhaps fail.

Why is the end user running 7 year old software when they can get the current version for free?

Good question - I do not know.  It could be because of company restrictions to install software.  Is Acrobat Reader DC the latest version?  Back to the original question - Is there a work around solution?

Do you mean that the screen shot is your "error message" (it isn't an error)?

What exact version of Acrobat Reader or Adobe  Reader does the individual have?

This is the screen that is displayed when the individual clicks on Save and Email.  The individual has Adobe Reader X (10.0.0).
