Save as screen is blank and will not load

I have a 26 page document with lots of edits. It will not save and the documant is important so i dont want to close it yet, Could the size of the document be causing this? Thanks

    Try this: Go to Edit (or the application menu if you're on a Mac) - Preferences - General and disable "Show online storage when saving files" and "Show online storage when opening files".
