Screen goes black when trying to fill in form

I use Acrobat Reader. Recently I have been unable to type  into an online form (names, addresses ect) because when I move the curser over the boxes the whole screen turns black (see attached photo). No one can tell me why. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe several times with no change. I have checked all updates for windows and HP programs including AVG Internet security.
