search cache has to be cleared before every new search inside a PDF

Title says it all, EVERY user in our firm has to clear the search cache after EVERY search in ANY PDF to succesfully search for a new term. I found nothing on the internet and this forum that helps. What can I do to fix this?

I've never had to clear a search cache, I didn't even know the option existed until now. I have one idea, but please tell us more about your files and how they were made. Also: what exactly fails?

* The second search on the same open file (kept open)

* The second search on the same file (closed and open)

* A second search on an entirely different file

Also, when it fails, what happens?

* Acts as if nothing found

* Does not advance (keeps finding same thing)

* Finds entirely the wrong thing

* Finds phantom areas of page without even any text?

Please answer all questions carefully, thanks, this is unusual and needs deep study.

Yes, the second search in the same opened file fails. it just highlights seemingly random numbers and or letters or words.

* The second search on the same file (closed and open)

If I close the file and reopen it, it works for one search and then again fails like described above.

* A second search on an entirely different file

It seems like in some files it works and in others it doesnt work. It is different from PC to PC aswell as file to file with no pattern to be found.

Also, when it fails, what happens?

How did you create the PDF files?

The file gets created from a text file through spire pdf for .net
