Search plug-in for adobe acrobat reader missing.

I am using windows 7.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe reader DC and updated it.  When I look at the plug-ins, it says that the search plug-in is not loaded.  When I look in the same place on my other computer running windows 10 it says that it is loaded. I am unable to search multiple PDFs in a folder on the windows 7 computer.

Hi Johnb,

As you are unable to search multiple pdfs in a folder, please try removing Reader using cleaner tool which you can download from here: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine.

And, install Reader DC from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Reboot the machine and try again.
