Search returns to the first instance of a word on a page after using a comment tool

A couple of colleagues and I are trying to create an automation that could potentially save my team hundreds of hours while doing quality checks on documents, but we are bumping into a roadblock.

The idea is to create a UiPath bot to search and stikeout (or highlight) instances of certain misspelled words in a PDF so that it doesn't need to be done manually. The issue is that, once the bot (or user) finds and strikes out the first instance of a word in a page, clicking "next" on the search box returns to the first instance of that word and the bot gets stuck searching and marking the same word over and over.

Is there a solution for this? Would this be something that Adobe would consider patching up in Reader DC?
