See PDFs in Recent List after viewed in Outlook

Thank you for your attention ... we recently started using Adobe Reader DC and we realized that it is not possible to see in recent documents those that are opened from Outllook, that is, it is necessary to save them out of Outlook so that they can be seen in recent documents. It should be noted that with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended it was possible to view PDFs and it was not necessary to save them. Will there be any settings that make this possible in Adobe DC? Thank you!
