Should I delete my membership?

I found I had log in details for adobe and I logged in to see what it was about before deleting the account.  I don't use it for anything but I do sometimes receive pdf attachments.  Would I still be able to open them if I'm not subscribed (I haven't paid anything)?

    If you close your account with Adobe you won't be able to access any files that are stored under your Adobe Cloud account.

    You will still be able to access public links to files that are stored on Adobe Cloud accounts that others send to you, though.
