Smartnotebook 16.2 and acrobat reader

I work at a school and just downloaded latest version of acrobat reader. Since I did this I am having freezing issues with my computer when adobe is open with my smart board.  It freezes and takes a long time for ink to work.  When I was trying to use both acrobat and smart notebook it froze and I had to hard shutdown the computer. Is there a conflict between two programs?  It did not happen til I installed latest version of acrobat reader.

    Could you please let me know the dot version of Reader installed on the machine?

    To check the version of Acrobat Reader DC, launch Reader DC>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

    Which Operating System is installed on the machine?

    Does the computer freeze when only Smartnotebook is in use?
