sticky note (not being able to write)

I am using Acrobat Pro DC Trial version.I cannot write/edit in sticky note unless I choose Open Pop-Up Note every time. I also cannot delete the sticky note even if I choose "delete" in properties. None of the Locked Boxes are checked and I checked Document Properties and Commenting is allowed. I also chose Make Properties Default. Nothing works. Help!

I have the same problem.  It's in any document I open.  I open the properties of the sticky note and a check mark says its locked.  I uncheck the check mark to unlock it, close it.  Then I go open another sticky note and go to properties and it says its locked.

Are you still experiencing the same issue, or managed to find the resolution to this problem? When you say its impossible to write anything in the sticky notes, do you experience this trouble with any specific document while commenting or none of the document letting you add sticky notes?

What is curious, though, that it is possible to write in the sticky notes previously opened. I just can't write in the new ones nor can I delete them. I'd really appreciate if anybody could help me.

Are you referring to the same document's sticky notes opened  previously or a different one? How about the sticky notes font color? Is it correct? Right click on sticky notes to check the properties-

Check document's properties, whether commenting is allowed or not. Open PDF>right click "Document Properties">Security>Commenting Allowed or Not Allowed.
