I've got a form80 i need to fill in, up untill last week i was capable of filling in the formfields but today it suddenly won't let me do it anymore. It makes some sort of error sound when i try to type. Very frustrating since i've been working on it for hours!
I hope somebody can help me. ( p.s. in the security it says: filling in form fields:allowed)

The form : https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/form-listing/forms/80.pdf

It works for me. Did you sign it? If so, that often is the final step and locks the file forever against changes.

Hi Chantal

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble and the delay in response. As described you are unable to fill in the PDF form.

I have checked the PDF form that you have shared and tried to fill in the form using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and its working fine.

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing to fill in the PDF form? Are you trying to fill in the form online? If yes, please download the form to your computer locally and then try to fill in the form and check.

Also make sure you have the latest version  21.01.20145 of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once and check.

You may also download the patch manually from the link https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/index.html

Let us know if you experience any trouble and need more help.

Regards

Amal

Open a Private Window in your browser and go to this link: https://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/

Make sure the optional add-ons check-box at the bottom of the page is not ticked before you click the download link.

What happens if you save a copy with a differenr filename?

Would you be able to Fill & Sign in that saved copy?

As faras I'm concerned this type of PDF doesn't allow any type of editing or modification. You may need to check if you're signed in with your Adobe ID to unlocm the premium editing features again.
