Summarize Document Takes Hours to NOT Complete

I have double checked and no updates are needed.
I have 32GB oif RAM Win 11Pro
The doc is 125 pages, but I have tried 60 page docs.
I am paying monthly for this service to work and it does not. 
It may generate a summary in less than a minute, in an hour or not in 12 hours.

Since your system and Acrobat are both up to date, and the issue happens inconsistently, it might be related to temporary performance or connectivity issues while processing the file.

 

Please try the following steps to help narrow it down:

  • Restart Acrobat and your system, then try generating the summary again.
  • Sign out and sign back in to your Adobe account in Acrobat.
  • Try with a smaller file (e.g., 10–20 pages) to see if the behavior changes.
  • Check your internet connection — unstable connectivity may delay or interrupt the AI summary process.
  • If the issue continues, try the same file on another device to confirm whether it’s system-specific.

If the problem persists after these steps, please let us know whether this happens with all PDFs or specific ones. This will help us investigate further.

  • Check your internet connection — unstable connectivity may delay or interrupt the AI summary process.-My internet is fiber optic, 300mb up and down, and I do check it regularly. I have called my ISP, and they did not see any recent blips. I also work from home, and this computer and internet connection are my only means of paying my bills, purchasing food and life saving medication. I strive to keep it all in working order. 
  • If the issue continues, try the same file on another device to confirm whether it’s system-specific.-just dit on my Win 10 Laptop and it took less than 30 seconds to get a summary of a 125 page doc that on my Win 11 Pro desktop it just spins for hours.
