Terms and conditions conversion to PDF

Hi,

I have a question related to the terms and conditions for using Adobe Reader. I use Open Office in which I can convert a document to PDF. In this way I can create a document that can be openend by Adobe Reader, but I create the PDF with another program (Open Office).

But I read I cannot use the software (Adobe) with other software unless it is offered of permitted by Adobe.

So is this use permitted?
