Text Properties Disappears

Question

I am trying to add comments to PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

I select Comment> Add Text Comment and the "Text Properties" bar appears. But as soon as I try to select a font, size or color, it disappears and I cannot get it to reappear without completely closing out of Reader.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and the issue persists.

What is the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Installed on your computer? To check the version of the application please use the link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

This issue got fixed with the latest update released on 24th Oct 2019 version 19.21.20049. Please update the application to the new version go to Help > Check for Updates.
