Text Recognition

I am having trouble with the text content.  After the file in downloaded the words are not right.  I use to be able to click on the disable text recognition but this option is no longer available.  Is there a new way to disable text recognition?

Using an apple iMac - doubt it makes much difference with any machine, at "edit" I undid text recognition and have then been able to add text to the original.

Maybe some more details about what you are doing and what you are using to do it would help us. Adobe Acrobat Reader doesn't have text recognition.
