    Hello ColdWarG,

We're sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. Are you still experiencing the launch issue with Adobe Reader? If yes, please reboot the machine once, and try launching Adobe Reader with admin privileges>Right Click on Adobe Reader icon>Choose 'Run as Administrator'.

If you are unable to launch Adobe Reader, try resetting Adobe Reader preferences and reboot the machine, to reset the preferences, refer to How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

If the issue still persists, remove Adobe Reader using Acrobat cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Reboot the machine and install the latest version of Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

let us know how it goes and share your findings.

    Thanks,
