There was an error while reading a stream. How can this be resolved?

i have created the file from scans from a c-70 color scanner/copier printer in our office.  I use Adobe Acrobat XI Pro to edit and save it on a shared desktop then save to my hard drive.

When I receive this error I am using Acrobat Reader DC to view the final document.  I have been doing this same process for more than 1 year and this is the first day that I have seen this error and it has happened on several different documents.
