"This document cannot be opened because it is not a valid PDF file.."

I am trying to reopen a PDF I just took notes in class using Adobe Reader Touch. I opened the file at 10:40, took notes, saved the document at 11:15, and immediately tried to re open it. Now, I am getting the error "This document cannot be opened because it is not a valid PDF file" BUT IT IS!! SOS!!
