Question

Thumbnails instead of acrobat icons

I have downloaded the latest Acrobat Reader on a pc running Windows 11 and using Google Chrome.Windows Explorer is history. I want to have miniature images of the front pdf file instead of the Acrobat icon. I have chosen the correct setting within acrobat reader for this option, but it still shows the icons. I used to have those miniature images earlier.  What is the reason for this ? How do I get the miniature  images back ?

You must revert to the Classic UI: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/acrobat-2023-how-to-revert-to-classic-gui-user-interface/td-p/14052807
Consider the "new Acrobat" as a beta version, many features are still missing or half-implemented.

You should explain (with screenshots) what you have done and what you see so that we can counsel accordingly. For the moment, we can only suggest setting the preference right in Acrobat: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/enable-pdf-thumbnail-preview-windows-explorer.html

As a side note: there is Internet Explorer and File Explorer on Windows. Internet Explorer is history. File explorer does still exist!
