tools in acrobat reader DC

i was just upgraded to Acrobat Reader DC -- the tools bar does not give me access to any real tools e.g when i click 'edit pdf' i get an uninformative video and link to buy adobe software -- all i want to do is delete a page from a document -- how do find the secondary toolbar (which seems to be imperative to doing anything)

i apologize if this has gone to the wrong community(ies) - my first time looking for assistance -- thank you

    Correct answer Test Screen Name

If you could do those things before you had Acrobat (costing several hundred dollars). Not Reader (free).

    Good afternoon.

The tools you need are not available in the free Reader although Reader will give you a clear path to purchase those tools (as you have noticed). If you want to edit pdf's in that way, you would need to purchase the full version of Acrobat (rather than the free Reader which is just that, a Reader).
