Question

Top of window

Hi. I've created a PDF document that when opened will pop-up a window to Save As. But I've noticed the document will open at the back of the folder/window from where it was located. This happens only in Adobe Reader XI. I dont know about the other versions. If there is no Save As pop-up window, the document opens on top of other windows right away. Is there a way to correct this situation? Thank you in advnace!

Hi @irek725

Hope you are doing well.

Acrobat Reader is freeware, and Reader XI is an ancient and outdated version. It's always recommended to have an up-to-date understanding.

Hence we recommend you install the latest Acrobat Reader for better experience and support in the future. https://helpx.adobe.com/reader/get-started.html

Thank you, Sir. I've been so comfortable with Reader XI for many years. What I've learned though concerning my post is that the problem is not with with the app but a Windows policy so that the previous window remains on top after the current window is closed. Howeveer, I noticed this isnt the case when using an Acrobat. Anyway, I'd be trying the new Reader soon. Many thanks again!
