When I convert a PDF to Word (either .doc or .docx) when I bring up the Word file the text of the Word document is superimposed in white over the original PDF. How do I get an editable Word document?

    Hi Davidt83589113,

Could you please attach the screenshot of the converted document?

Is there any trouble during the conversion of PDF to word or problem arises after converting and accessing the word doc?

Also try converting the document online https://cloud.acrobat.com/  to see if that makes any difference.

    Regards,

    Akanchha

I pull up the PDF which I got from Internet Archive, click on the Convert to Word button, say Save As, everything seem to go well and then when I pull up the saved file I get the Word document in white on top of the original PDF.

I tried using your cloud.acrobat method and I still get a white Word document superimposed over the original PDF. I want to get a Word version of the PDF that I can edit and format just like any other Word file. Am I expecting too much? Is it not possible for me to do this?
