Trouble Installing Acrobat Reader DC

Somethinhg happened to my acrobat reader and it is no longer on my system.  A co-worker was trying to help and somehow downloaded Adobe Reader XI MUI and now I cannot uninstall it because it says it needs a source disk.  When I try to download Acrobat Reader DC, it gets almost done and then says I need the installation source again and then it fails.  It tells me the acrobat pdf browser plug in is missing and to reinstall acrobat or reader to fix.  I would love to, but it will not let me.  Help!

    Hi Tosskatie,

Sorry to hear the inconvenience caused to you.

You may use the cleaner tool to uninstall any previous version of Adobe Acrobat and its old traces- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs this would also help you to start a fresh installation.

Refer to the- Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution   and try downloading and installing the Reader DC application.

Let us know if it still doesn't work.

    Regards,
