Trouble With Script Fonts When Converting Microsoft Publisher to PDF

Certain script fonts are cut off when I convert a Microsoft Publisher document to a PDF document.  The fonts are being processed as images instead of fonts and the boxes that encompass them are not large enough to display the full font properly.  Any assistance with this issue is greatly appreciated!!!

I suggest you contact Microsoft. Both of these methods use Microsoft software, not Adobe software. It may be a new Publusher bug.

Hi Ericar,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Would you let us know how are you converting Publisher documents to PDF? Are you using Acrobat Pro or a third party application for conversion?

Did you try embedding fonts to the file? https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-to-embed-fonts-in-a-pdf

Please let us know if that helps. Or if you have already found a resolution/workaround to this query, please reply to third with your findings that will help.

I'm having a similar problem... for me, a letter from the start of the word is being cut off slightly for some script fonts. It is fine in Microsoft Publisher, but is cut off in PDF.

It also sometimes shows lines down the middle of the word.

I've attached a photo of it here.
