Question

trouble with signature in newer versions

Hi,

I use Reader for a while to sign document using a physical token with a private key certificate.

It worked very and suddenly stopped : when you sign, everything seems good but the signature is not valid : 'file has been altered or damaged after signature'

I tried a lot of thing about configuration but nothing to have something ok..

Result of my test :

- going back to version 2015.10.20060 No problem, everything works perfectly

- After version 015.017.20053, no way to sign something with my physical key.

So after finding how to stop reader upgrades automaticaly, I have a solution, but I would prefer to have Adobe teams correct this 🙂 !!

Best regards.

Pierre

    Hi Pierre-antoinel94233254,

Really sorry for the delay in response and thankyou for sharing the updates.

We have released the latest update for Adobe Reader DC (2015.020.20039)which has fix for the previous bugs.

Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows

Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Macintosh

You can go ahead and try updating to the latest one to see if that has resolved the problem that you were experiencing.

    Regards,

    Akanchha
