Turn off Acrobat Reader auto-launch when I download a file

I am using chrome, and have Chrome set to open a "Save as" window when I want to download something.  However, once I hit the save button, Acrobat automatically opens up.  I don't always need to open the document in Reader-usually, I've already read it in my browser.  How do I turn this off?  It's launching the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC app on my computer, not opening the document in a browser window.

The place to look for an option is in Chrome. Reader doesn’t decide to launch; instead, Chrome decides to launch Reader.
