unable to convert a pdf file to word

I subscribe to adobe and each time I try to convert a pdf file to a word doc the system takes me to the subscribe page.  I've confirmed that I am a subscriber.  This is very frustrating!

    Hi cydneyb21444941,

    Please make sure that you are sign-in in Adobe Reader application with the same Adobe ID (email address), that you used at the time to purchase Export PDF service.

    Try once to sign-out and relaunch the application. Then sign-in again and try to Export PDF.

    In meantime, you can try to export PDF online here: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf

    Hello...it still does not work!  Adobe has turned into a crap product!

    Also, I was not aware that the free Reader would do any conversion at all... since it is free, I think it only reads, hence the name
