Unable to download

I received a Reader DC document last week.  It created problems.  I uninstalled my version and now I am both unable to read any PDF files or worse - download Adobe Acrobat Reader DC as it seems to find higher version in the installation.  Need an answer, person or a link towipe totally all Adobe Reader files and download.  Need this software soon to work with for a client.
