Unable to download Acrobat Reader

I had AR on my Windows 10 PC but removed the app as I wanted to install it to a different drive. Now when I try and download it it says I have a more up to date version already installed even though I uninstalled it. There are still Adobe AR folders on the hard drive but I cant delete them as it says I need administrator permission, even though I am logged in as an administrator
