We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, please reboot the machine once and then use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove any corrupt or conflicting installation files of Adobe Reader from previously installed Adobe Reader Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
Reboot the machine once and download and install Adobe Reader from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
Once Adobe Reader is downloaded, install the latest patch of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine again.
