Unable to download Windows 7 compatible installer

Question

I need to install Reader DC on a Windows 7 machine with no existing Reader installation.

Where can I find the latest Windows 7-compatible installer?

https://get.adobe.com/reader/ is providing ”Reader 2026.002.21931 English for Windows (32 bit)”

2026.002.21931 will not install. The installer fails with:

This application cannot be installed on this operating system. Setup will now terminate. Please refer to the minimum system requirements at
http://www.adobe.com/go/reader_system_reqs.

I am unable to install the base version of DC and perform updates form there, as the FTP server is no longer available:

Hidaring_questioner8d08,Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.I would like to inform you that support for Windows 7 has been discontinued starting with version 26.001.21651. This appears to be the reason you are receiving the error message. For more information, please refer to the following page:System requirement changes.If you don't have the option to install an older version and the installer isn't available, unfortunately, there isn't much we can do.Thanks,Meenakshi
