Unable to edit text in text box

I'm trying to change wording in a document that I created. I'm using the edit tool. When I delete the original text, the entire text box moves to the right, leaving me with a blank screen on the left side of the screen.

If not, please share the PDF with us so we can check it.

 

Did you check if a similar behavior occurs with other PDFs?

Share the Acrobat and OS version number.
